Salisbury Gathering

Salisbury Cathedral
A chance to meet the music team at Salisbury Cathedral and hear the organ in action. This is followed by a delicious cream tea and Evensong.


This event was originally scheduled for 10 September 2022, but had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. We are pleased that it will now go ahead on 2 May 2023.

The Gathering begins with a Eucharist service (with hymns) in the Trinity Chapel. After the service there will be a talk about the organ restoration by John Challenger, Assistant Director of Music.

The Director of Music, David Halls, will then demonstrate the organ's capabilities.

A delicious cream tea will follow in the refectory at 4.00pm before the Choral Evensong service which begins at 5.30pm.
