Southwell Gathering
A really special gathering inside hidden gem, Southwell Minster will take place on Saturday 31 October.
Attendees can experience:
- a Guided Tour of the Cathedral
- a Guided Visit to the famous 13th century stone carvings ‘Leaves of Southwell’ carvings in the Chapter House (on the 70th anniversary of Sir Nikolaus Pevsner’s definitive book about them) – these carvings were also voted the nation’s favourite cathedral treasure by the Association of English Cathedrals in 2023
- Evensong with the opportunity to join in with the Lay Clerks
- Entertainment from the Lay Clerks in the State Chamber
- Culminating in a curated wine tasting!
