With the choir about to take a well earned rest after an extremely busy and successful year (which included singing at the “Wedding of the Year”!) I thought you might be interested to know that Philip Rushforth, our Organist and Master of the Choristers, will be giving a talk and demonstration of the organ on Monday 18th November at 7:30pm.
Get to know the Cathedral Organ
Our Cathedral Organ is a wonderful and impressive instrument. This is an opportunity to get to know it better. Philip Rushforth, our organist and master of the choristers, will demonstrate its various qualities and show how, when these are skilfully brought together, we hear its beautiful and impressive music. This event will be accompanied by a glass of wine and of course will be held in the Nave of the Cathedral.
The talk has been organised by the Friends of Chester Cathedral, who would very much welcome supporters of Cathedral Music Trust to attend.
Tickets cost £7.50 (including a glass of wine). More info & booking
