Teenage Recruitment

The Trust understands that many church choirs are keen to attract talented younger singers to boost the standard and longer-term viability of the choir.

If your project includes recruitment of teenage singers, we ask that you indicate from where you will recruit singers, for example, by including evidence that you have contacted local singing teachers or school heads of music and that you know of singers who are likely to be interested in joining your choir. Please explain how you will attract singers to your choir and how you will retain their commitment. A project to recruit teenage choral scholars will be regarded more favourably if it goes hand-in-hand with provision for their support and training, and we will expect to see details of this in your application.
