Remembering Harry Bramma
Following a period of declining health, we are saddened to hear about the passing of Harry Bramma, former Royal School of Church Music Director, who died on Sunday 23 August in Chislehurst at the age of 89.
Harry made a profound and lasting contribution to church music, serving as Director of Music and Organist at Southwark Cathedral from 1976 to 1989, through his years as Director of the Royal School of Church Music from 1989 to 1998, and as Director of Music at All Saints, Margaret Street 1989 – 2004.
We remain grateful for his dedicated service to music.
