RSCM are recruiting two positions

Join The Choir Project: Inspiring the Next Generation Through Music

The Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) is leading The Choir Project, an ambitious three-year national initiative funded by the Church of England’s People and Partnerships Fund. This programme places music and choral singing at the heart of engaging children and young people in the worshipping life of the Church. Through the creation and renewal of 200 choirs, the project will support 2,000 young people and equip 500 new volunteers, nurturing a new generation through the transformative power of music.

To support the project RSCM are now seeking two talented and committed individuals to join the core team and help shape the future of this exciting initiative.

Project Leader: The Choir Project

Are you passionate about helping children and young people encounter the Christian faith through music? Do you thrive on leading innovative projects with meaningful impact?

As Project Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of The Choir Project, ensuring its vision is realised nationwide. You will bring strong project management expertise, a track record of delivering results, and the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.

Network Engagement Officer: The Choir Project

Do you have a passion for supporting churches in reaching children and young people? Are you a confident communicator who builds strong, lasting relationships?

As Network Engagement Officer, you will work closely with churches, dioceses, and training institutions to support their involvement in The Choir Project. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
