Myron and Archie

It’s day 14 of our Advent Calendar, and today we’ll be hearing something a little different. Not a choir, or an organ, but two choristers who got together to record two charity CDs featuring treble duets in aid of childhood cancer charities, after Myron’s older brother was diagnosed with cancer last year.

Myron and Archie met as choristers in Magdalen College Choir, Oxford and Archie was later shortlisted for the BBC Young Chorister of the year 2020. Their first album was praised by Sir Simon Rattle: ‘What shines out is the determination to achieve all this beauty against enormous odds; it gives the music making an unusual depth which no listener could miss’. Their second -and most recent- CD, Love Came Down at Christmas, combines the charm of the familiar with the excitement of new discoveries in a truly beautiful Christmas collection.

Myron, Archie and their families hope that Love Came Down at Christmas will bring wonder, beauty and joy to your festival season while also supporting the Childhood Cancer Research Trust and Cathedral Music Trust.
