Nearly six years ago, the late Kenneth Tickell’s final organ, the Stoller Organ, was completed and first played in Manchester Cathedral. Thomas Trotter gave the inaugural recital on Thursday 14 September 2017.
For a variety of reasons there has not yet been a series of recitals on the organ until now. On April 23, Christopher Stokes will give the first of six Sunday Organ Promenade Recitals, each starting at 3pm.
These are free events and no ticket is required.

- June 11 Geoffrey Woollatt, Sub-Organist at Manchester Cathedral
